Describe the strategy in your own words, or paste a whole Pine script from TradingView. The translator rewrites it into one of the two forms below and says what it kept and what it could not. Nothing is created by it: you read the result, the form gets filled in, and you press Create.
Ask what a strategy does, what its results say, or for a change in plain words. The assistant reads the registry and the results; it cannot change anything. A change comes back as a card with what would change, and you press Apply. Any change closes the promotion gate: a new backtest is needed before real orders, and a live strategy goes back to dry-run.
The time zone does more than change the clock: the session windows are defined in it, so it decides the score every signal gets. The default keeps the strategy exactly as it was written. If you move the zone, move the window hours too — otherwise the strategy is not translated into your zone, it is shifted against the market.
Paste the file they gave you. It carries the configuration and, for a Pine strategy, the script — but never their broker account, so put yours below. It arrives as a draft: it sends nothing until you have backtested it here yourself.
Indicator-style Pine is accepted:
prices, operators, ? :, [n] and the functions
on the allow list. Anything else is refused by line and by the name of
the construct — nothing is guessed. The script only says when the
condition is true; the stop, the position size and the targets are
chosen below. An Order Block indicator does not go here
— that strategy is built in, add it with the form above; Pine is for the
other ideas.
A strategy cannot send orders before it has been proven on history. Up to five years at a time; it runs beside the bot, at low priority.
A backtest can only answer about candles this machine holds. Fetching runs beside the bot and only asks the broker for what is missing, so a range you already have costs seconds.
Everything a strategy has done since it first sent an order, across every restart. The loop opens a new run each time it starts, so "since the start" on the Live tab is about the last one only. Runs that sent nothing are left out, and these are the engine's numbers, not the broker's statement.
Limits on the account as a whole, not on one trade. The bot reads them on every turn, so they hold from the next turn without a restart. Open positions keep being managed; only new entries are held back.
The translator sends the text you paste to Anthropic's Claude and gets back the fields of a form. It needs an Anthropic API key, kept in the settings database on this machine and sent nowhere else. Each translation costs a few cents. Without a key the translator says so and does nothing.
